Isaiah 9:1-7 Sermon - “Mighty God”

On the second Sunday of Advent, we looked at the secodn name for Christ from Isaiah 9:6, ‘mighty God.’ The word translated as ‘mighty’ can also be translated ‘heroic. ’ Bob reflected upon some of the other places in Scripture that use the same description and how we often see ourselves as the hero of the story when the true hero is God, who delights to take that role.
