PLUG IN WITH OAK KIDS

SUNDAYS: Nursery - 6th Grade

On Sunday mornings, our Children’s Ministry offers childcare for Nursery & Preschool children at 8:15, 9:30 & 10:45 am. Kids Worship meets at 10:45 am for K-2nd grade children in the Gym! K-2nd Graders are dismissed following the Offering during Worship. The 9:30 am hour is Discipleship for kids of all ages!

Sunday evenings in Fall & Spring we offer The R.O.C.K. (Rotation of Christ’s Kids) for Nursery-6th Grade students. Drop-off begins at 5:15 pm and pick-up is at 7:00 pm. Pizza dinner is provided!

Kids Choir meets Sundays before the ROCK for rising 1st-6th grades. Children are to be checked in by an adult for Sunday Evening activities before heading to choir.

MINISTRIES OF OAK KIDS

CROSSROADS: 5th & 6th Grades

Crossroads is Oak Kids’ ministry to 5th & 6th graders at OMPC, bridging the gap between Elementary and Youth House Discipleship. In the Fall and Spring, Crossroads gathers for Sunday morning discipleship and Sunday evenings during the R.O.C.K., with additional monthly events!

MUSTARD SEEDS: Special Needs Ministry

Mustard Seeds provides a loving and supportive environment through individual, well-instructed buddies for each child impacted by a special need. Mustard Seeds is offered all morning on Sundays as well as during the ROCK on Sunday evenings in the Fall and Spring.

DROP-IN CHILDCARE MINISTRY

Welcome to the Clubhouse! This is our Drop-in Childcare ministry of OMPC. Each day of childcare offers intentionality with lessons, activities and care for nursery through preschool-aged children. While we want to provide our families with excellent childcare, we also strive to point them to Christ and learn more about the world He has created!

Clubhouse is for children six weeks through rising Kindergarten. Operating hours are 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Early drop off is available at 8:00 am upon request for a fee of $5.00 per child.

Fees: 1 Child: $25/day; 2 Children: $35/day; 3 or more Children: $40/day

Payment is due upon registration.

Brunch with Barb | Monthly on Mondays this Spring

Grab some coffee and sit alongside Children’s Ministry Director Barbara Lindsey and other moms in our church as we encourage each other that we are not alone in parenting.  We will gather once a month at Edgar's, and we hope you will join when you can!!

We are so excited to invite all Rising K- 6th graders to VBS this summer!  Scuba VBS will be a week full of spiritual impact, games, crafts, worship and so much more!  Register here

We also need adults and youth to pull off this incredible week!  Register for serve team here
Serve team can bring their children younger than rising kindergarten to VBS.  You will receive a link to register them in your serve team confirmation email.

Clubhouse childcare is for children six weeks through rising Kindergarten.  
We will not have Clubhouse during the week of VBS or the week of July 4th.
Clubhouse is from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.

Our special needs ministry is excited to host Music Mondays again this summer!!
We invite all of our Mustard Seeds Friends (indiviuals with special needs) and their families to join us this summer for Music Mondays.  Email Haylee for more information.

We can’t wait for another super fun week at Bloom with our rising 3rd - 7th grade girls! Join us for a week of worship, teaching, small groups and a variety of creative arts projects! The cost is $200 for OMPC members, $225 for nonmembers, and includes a Bloom T-shirt, all project materials, lunch and snacks. Spots are limited so make sure to set your alarms!

By God's grace our Children's Ministry is growing exponentially in our nursery and preschool age groups! In order to provide a safe and intentional environment for all OMPC member and guest babies and toddlers, we need more people to serve on Sunday mornings. Treehouse Early Learning Center

  • 1 - 5 year olds

  • Monday - Friday classes (two-day, three-day, four-day and five-day options)

  • Fall and Spring semesters

Treehouse Early Learning Center at OMPC serves families as a quality, Gospel-centered preschool program. The curriculum promotes children’s social, emotional, physical, intellectual and spiritual growth. Children in 3 and 4-year old classes are taught educational elements to prepare them for Kindergarten.

Infant Baptism

As a member of the denomination of the Presbyterian Church of America, we believe in sacrament of Covenant Baptism. This is the baptism of believers who have never been baptized in the past and the baptism of the children of believers as covenant children.
