Surprising Community at OMPC
Life Groups
Courageous, biblically-based relationships empowered by grace that lead to transformational intimacy. This is the goal for community at OMPC, and Life Groups are a key way to experience this type of surprising community. Typically, many groups meet on Sunday evenings, but other groups meet at varying times during the week. While many groups are currently on hiatus for the summer, they will resume meeting later in the year. To learn more about joining a group when they resume, please contact Chad Walker, Pastor of Outreach, Life Groups and Young Professionals, or fill out the interest form via the button below.
Discipleship Classes
Our Sunday morning Discipleship will continue throughout the summer! Most groups are diving into a new series by June 5!
Oak Kids Summer Discipleship will consist of a large group gathering. Each child 1st-6th grade will receive a Discipleship handbook to serve as a tool for scripture study and memorization as we continue in our Gospel Project Curriculum.
Youth Summer Discipleship will separate into two groups: Girls and Guys. The 7th-12th grade girls will gather to hear stories from various women in the church about how God has transformed their lives. The 7th-12th grade guys will study Ephesians 2. Each week they will have a John Piper video lab called "Look at the Book" that will instruct students how to dissect the Bible verse by verse. This will be followed with a group discussion focused on application.
