GUEST SPEAKERS AT OMPC
The videos below are from guest speakers during non-Sunday morning worship times.
Combined ADC: The PCA & Human Sexuality | February 19, 2023
On Sunday, February 19, we hosted a combined Adult Discipleship Class in effort to continue to pursue surprising growth diving into topics on Bible and Culture.
The class was on the PCA and Human Sexuality. We took time to look at our denominational perspective on various issues related to human sexuality. This was a gathering to equip our congregation to respond to culture on this topic from a biblical standpoint.
If you would like to learn more about this topic, click here for the PCA's full report that will be discussed. Click here for a video of PCA Pastors Kevin DeYoung and Tim Keller discussing this topic as well. Both of these links can also be found on OMPC's "What We Believe" page on our website.
Sanctity of Life Panel | August 14, 2022
On August 14, our congregation gathered during our 9:30 am Discipleship Hour to hear from a panel on the Sanctity of Life, how Christians should respond in the wake of the overturn of Roe v. Wade. We welcomed Dr. Mark Ryan of Covenant Theological Seminary to speak on the panel alongside OMPC Lead Pastor Bob Flayhart and Women’s Ministry Director, Sue Harris. Check out the video recording below!
Q&A with Dan Doriani | June 26, 2022
On Sunday, June 26, we welcomed guest speaker Dan Doriani to share on calling and vocation. Our 9:30 am Discipleship hour was a time for all Adult Discipleship Classes to gather in the Sanctuary for a special Q&A with Dan. Watch the video below for content shared that morning!
