Proverbs 3:1-10 Sermon

At this time of year, our minds turn to a number of things. One of them at OMPC is giving - both in terms reaching our end-of-year giving goal but also in looking ahead to 2022 budgets. In this excerpt from Sunday’s sermon from Proverbs 3:1-10, Bob addresses an aspect of generous giving that is, perhaps, misunderstood and underappreciated - the benefits of obedience. These are not rewards for performance but, rather, an invitation to our highest delight and pleasure by fulfilling the commands of a God whose heart is good, and who loves us.
