Proverbs 1:1-7 Sermon

On Sunday, Bob Flayhart kicked off our new series in Proverbs.

One of the points Bob touched on was our desire to find answers in the pages of Scripture to specific questions or decisions we face in life. However, while the Bible is inspired and authoritative, it is not exhaustive - in that it does not address every particular scenario we might encounter, but does establish principles we should apply to them. Like how you must develop a sophistication of palate to appreciate fine wine, wisdom is the development of a distinguished palate for insight through our knowledge of the Word, experience in life, and association with Godly community.
