Compassion Groups

Compassion can best be understood as love in action; it is expensive yet free, simple in gesture yet extravagant in grace. We see it in the life of Christ as he moves towards, not away from, those he deeply and tenderly cares for.

The Compassion Groups at OMPC are a movement towards healing and hope.  With Christ’s strength, God’s mercy and the power of the Holy Spirit we experience, in community, the joy of movement forward…whether in grief, divorce, diagnosis, debt, anxiety, or isolation.

Beginning September 12, the third year of Compassion Groups will continue.  These groups include Grief Share, facilitated by Joyce Dixon; Divorce Care, facilitated by Rhonda Blevins; Lion Bridge, facilitated by Lisa Donohue; and Financial Peace, facilitated by Jeff Anderson and Steve Donohue. Please pray for additional co-facilitators and overwhelming truth and grace to be experienced. More information about these groups can be found by clicking the button below!
