Genesis 1:26-28 Sermon

Our lives - and our world - can be chaotic. This past Sunday, our Missions Pastor, Tom Patton, spoke from Genesis 1:26-28 and pondered how we can find clarity amidst all that chaos. One way that the passage tells us we can do that is to remember who we are - created in God’s image. That also means that, in God’s grace, everyone else around us is also an imagebearer. Whether they look like us or not. Whether they believe what we believe or not. Whether we agree with their politics or not. God the Father sent His only Son to pay for our debt of sin. May that humble us, and mark our interactions with those around us.
