1 Thessalonians 2:1-8 Sermon Teaser

We can argue for the faith with sound reason and logic. And that is important. However, arguments can be refuted. What is irrefutable is love. In John 13:35, Jesus says that his followers will be known by their love for one another. Later, in John 15:13, Jesus explains how there is no greater love than someone willing to lay down their life for others. Jesus, of course, set that example perfectly. In 1 Thessalonians 2, we read how Paul was willing to emulate that for those in Thessalonica. Our challenge, as laid down by Bob in this clip, is to evaluate our own lives; our own witness and ask “where is the love?”
