Kick off the Fall at OMPC engaging in our annual Week of Prayer! On Sunday, August 13, Bob Flayhart closed out our Summer Series on the "One Another’s of the New Testament” by preaching on James 5:16 and praying for one another. We’re using that sermon as a catapult to pray for our congregation, our city, our nation and our world throughout this week.
Click the button below for daily prayer prompts, praying through our vision framework so that we might grow as a church that seeks to engage every neighbor with the surprising power of grace. Our Ministry Prayer Guide is also available below.
Our theme verse this year is Romans 8:26, “Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.”
We encourage you to set your alarm for 8:26 am and 8:26 pm to pause and pray twice daily throughout this week!
