OMPC’s Mobilization Ministry desires to help our church make a spirit-filled difference through a grateful lifestyle of generosity, mercy, and reconciliation that continues to abound over the fence, over the mountain, and overseas. To help us achieve this, we have organized a serve day on May 4, 2024. We'll have projects at King's Home, Royal Divinity Ministries, Hearts in Hands, Oak Mountain Missions and Christian Service Mission. FEATURED SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES

OVER THE PEW

By God's grace our Children's Ministry is growing exponentially in our nursery and preschool age groups! In order to provide a safe and intentional environment for all OMPC member and guest babies and toddlers, we need more people to serve on Sunday mornings. If every OMPC member served once/quarter, we would be more than covered in this area! Please click the link below to sign up to serve and a member from our Oak Kids team will follow up with you.

OVER THE FENCE

Birmingham is a temporary home to many international students here for studies at various universities in our city. Getting to know them while they are here is a great opportunity to build meaningful relationships that can have global kingdom impact! Click the button below to sign up for service opportunities with international students. From driving a student to the grocery store, to having intentional conversation over a structured meal time, to hosting students in your home, you will be engaging hearts here to impact the world!

OVER THE MOUNTAIN

Red Mountain Grace is a non-profit organization that provides housing to out-of-town patients and caregivers traveling to Birmingham for extended medical care. Red Mountain Grace offers guests a safe, clean, and fully-furnished apartment for just $10 a night. Since 2013, RMG has welcomed over 900 guests through their apartments.

Opportunities to volunteer include engaging with guests during their stay through providing meals, celebrating holidays or treatment milestones, and cleaning apartments between guest stays.
